Alignment Design from Surveyed Data

Alignment Design from Surveyed Data (also know as NovaTrack) is used for optimization, rehabilitation, adjustment and calculation of exiting railway tracks.

  • Start the function and import the survey data of exiting track.
  • To import the survey data, use the function 'Open'.
  • For further details on the function 'Open', refer the topic 'Open' in the help file of the module 'Novapoint Alignment Design from Surveyed Data'.
  • The module supports wide range of survey data formats.
  • For further details on formats, refer the topic 'Formats' in the help file of the module 'Novapoint Alignment Design from Surveyed Data'.
  • Once the exiting track is treated with this module, the data can be saved in other formats also.
  • Survey data cannot be saved to database directly.
  • In order to save the survey data file to database do the following:
  • Finish rehabilitation work using this module.
  • Using the option 'Save As', save the data to 'Alignment Design Railway' formats (for further details on formats, refer the topic 'Formats' in the help file of the module 'Novapoint Alignment Design from Surveyed Data').
  • Run the function 'Alignment Design' and open the file saved in above step using the function 'From File' (for further details on the function 'From File', refer the topic 'From File' in the help file of the module 'Novapoint Alignment Design').
  • Save to database using the function 'Name' (for further details on the function 'Name', refer the topic 'Name' in the help file of the module 'Novapoint Alignment Design').
