If you use Quadri, this version can only be used with Quadri 2.0 or newer.
Models created with earlier versions of Novapoint, will be converted on opening in NP20.00 and can ONLY be used in NP20.00, and it will not be possible to open it with earlier versions of Novapoint after conversion.
Using Novapoint 20.05 with floating license (FLEXlm license manager) will require license manager 11.14 of FLEXlm. Make sure the license manager support this before you try to use Novapoint 20.05. If your network uses the IPv6 protocol (as used in Microsoft Direct Access), you should set the FNP_IP_PRIORITY=6 environment variable on the client computer to give priority to IPv6, which can improve performance and avoid unwanted IPv4 address resolution.
Novapoint 20.00 and Novapoint 20.05 will both require license version 20.00.
Login using named user (Vianova ID) will work for both Novapoint 20.00 and Novapoint 20.05.
There are some issues using the USB hardware lock (FLEXid). Please contact us if you want to use Novapoint 20.05 with the USB lock.

FIXED: When importing Geosuite projects, the doublet dialog sometimes crashes. This is now corrected.
FIXED: When importing Geosuite projects, we sometimes experienced double borehole data with doublet GUIDs. This is now corrected.
FIXED: When importing borehole data from GUDB, the elevation values were sometimes set to zero. This is now corrected.
Settings in “Novapoint Configuration” will now set AutoCAD product according to the choice done in the Novapoint settings. In some cases the user had to add the “/product” switch to get the right AutoCAD environment started in Novapoint. The setting of “/product” is normally not needed with only one AutoCAD product installed. Now the “/product” setting will be set to match the AutoCAD product in use with Novapoint. To override the settings you can add the “/noproduct” to the NovapointBase.exe shortcut. If the user set the “/product” in the NovapointBase.exe shortcut, will this setting be used.
CORRECTED: Slope error on Surface 2 on the left hand side when using method 2 on the End Surface.
CORRECTED: Using a user-defined sight distance the value for speed was used when the sight distance was set shorter then the speed value.

CORRECTED: When defining and editing niche types for railroad models, the system didn't always manage to detect that the model was a railroad model and not a road model. Due to this, the niche type dialog didn't always function as it should. This is now corrected.
IMPROVED: 3D-drawing of niches and crossing tunnels didn't always cut these correctly against the main tunnel. This is now corrected for most of the situations.
NEW: It is now possible to define straight walls for the perimeter, even when the perimeter is defined as an offset of the inner profile.
NEW: It is now possible to define a road surface edge as the vertical reference for the tunnel base line.
NOTE: To be able to store these new values for an existing project, you must first update the feature catalogue version, that is FC 1926 (1.18). For a server project, you must do this upgrade of the FC on the server with Quadri Model Manager. For a local project, you must first make a new project with the new FC and then do a QG4 import of the existing project into the new project.
